‘I love indulging in fruits abroad’
I love travelling and make it a point to travel every year. When I’m in Delhi, I love indulging in Indian cuisine especially kaali dal at Bukhara and the butter chicken at Gulati. They are delicious and prepared with the right amount of spices and cream. I love the chicken sizzler served at Yokos in Mumbai too and the mushrooms in white sauce that accompanies the dish is scrumptious. The buffet at Marriot is a must-try when in Mumbai. The spread is grand and quality is lovely.
I try and avoid eating meat while travelling abroad since I find the preparation quite bland and I am scared of falling sick. I prefer indulging in salads, pastas and pies. Though I make it a point to try the favourite local cuisine to get a flavour of the country. When in London, I indulge in the Thai food served there. Taco Bells in the United States is a must-visit and I simply love everything served over there. The cheese bean salad is delicious and so is the nachos salad that is served with melted cheese on top. It is simply mouth-watering.
I am not a dessert person so I prefer indulging in fruits abroad. The variety and the quality of fruits in places like Australia, Thailand and South Africa is excellent I love mangosteens from Bangkok. I think everyone should indulge in some local fruits while travelling.
