Ground nut Chutney (Peanut chutney)


Ingredients :
- groundnuts - 1 cup
- green chillies - 3-4
- turmeric powder - a pinch
- tamarind - 3 flakes
- oil - 1 1/2 tsp
- salt to taste
For seasoning
- cumin seeds( jeera ) - 1/2 tsp
- mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
- curry leaves - 3
Heat a pan add groundnuts , fry it. Let it be cool and peeled out.
In the same pan add 1 tsp of oil and fry the green chillies.
Now Grind all the Ingrediants with half of cup water.
Heat a pan add 1 tsp of oil add cumin and mustard seeds and curry leaves.When they started splutter added to the chutney.
Its ready to serve with idli, dosa or upma..
Note: Coconut and ginger garlic are optional u can add it if u want. This would still taste good with coconut and ginger garlic.
