Semya Payasam - Kheer


Ingredients:
- Vermicelli - 1 cup
- Milk - 2 cups
- Water - 1 1/2 cup
- Sugar - 1 cup(If u want more sweet add some more)
- Cashewnuts - 20
- Raisins - 20
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
- ghee/clarified butter - 3 tsp
Preparation Method :
Heat 1 tsp of ghee in cooking vessel and fry dry fruits till golden color.and keep aside that.
In the same vessel add remaining ghee fry vermicelli till it comes light golden color. Now add water and cook till the vermicelli become soft.
Now add MIlk, sugar and cardamon powder and cook for 2 minutes.
Garnish with roasted dry fruits, Serve with hot or cool.
Note : You can also add roasted almonds , dates , pista ..etc
