Authentic chaat, just around the corner

Tucked away in the Parking Number 4 of KBR Park, opposite Rhapsody Food Court on Road No 1, Jubilee Hills, ‘Around The Corner’ is a must for all you Hyderabadi juice and chaat-lovers.

The seating is outdoors and makes for a relaxed experience as guests can lounge on comfy bean bags. Customers can opt for in-car service too. The joint comprises three sections — Jooze Bar, Bread Bee and Chowpatty. As the name suggests, the Jooze Bar offers an exhaustive 65 varieties of juices! The Bread Bee serves salads, shawarma and grilled sandwiches while Chowpatty dishes out stuffed omelettes, pulav, chaat etc.

What’s impressive about the place is they have low-fat juices for weight-watchers, energy juices for tired souls and wheatgrass shots for the health-conscious. You can also customise your juice.

Their chaat is almost akin to Bombay-style chaat as chefs from Mumbai whip up yummy dabelis, masala-stuffed omelettes that are served with pav, tawa pulav, usal pav, corn bhel etc. The chaat is reasonably priced between 15 and 75. Their shawarma too is a pleasant change from the run-of-the-mill Indianised version that is made with rotis. It is made with khubus and is priced at Rs 75. They have a variety of sandwiches as well.

The ambience is uber cool and the interiors are swanky. Dishes are served on easy-to-dispose wooden plates and dining in the outdoor area that borders the lush greenery of KBR Park is a relief from the concrete jungle. The service is prompt, prices affordable and the food is yummy, making ‘Around The Corner’ a great place to grab a snack when hunger pangs strike.
